Had a conference here and it was nice. The large room we were in had a stage and was well ventilated. The only issue was that the washrooms are never enough especially when there is a break in session and everyone is going at once. But that is to be expected. It’s a lovely building! Expect to climb some stairs as a good workout if you are on the lower floor.

The Centre is very nice. I have gone here for both a grad convocation and banquet as well as a boxing match. Both were done very well with the seating and decorating. I had no problems with the staff either. I also found their facility to be very easy to maneuver even though I had a broken foot. The elevator and escalator were both available making it easy on me to get where I needed. Parking is downtown so can be pricey and the driving down there is a pain. But otherwise it's a nice location.

Great space to have professional meetings and events. Halls A & C are large beautiful spaces. For some reason the air-conditioning has not worked a lot which can make larger farthings a bit hot. I'm not sure if the the rentals management forgets to make sure it's on or if it's actually a air conditioning issue. But otherwise the Shaw is beautiful and full of greenery with a great view of Edmonton in all its Edmonton -bread.

Have been here for many events. Have been unlucky with broken escalators several times. The place is great though for space. Parking sucks. :( love the plants all the way up. Some interesting people hanging around but near downtown you can’t avoid that. Find rooms not always easy. Need more maps throughout.

Was here for a graduation ceremony. The biggest issue was with how the tables are selected to go up to the buffet. Tables with small children, elderly, and disabled were not prioritized. Bread was brought to the table once you get food... Not before .. How does that make sense. Especially after waiting 15 minutes to get food. Facilities and venue it's self was excellent and parking was really easy at Canada place.
