As this is the venue at which events are held (and not the actual events), I'll base this rating on the overall layout of the place and the nailed-down amenities. The grounds were well maintained even after the first 2 days of the Big Valley Jamboree 2018. The free water areas were well stocked and easy to find. Volunteers and workers kept the place neat and tidy throughout the day by picking up garbage and recycling. The only reason this isn't a 5 star rating is that there is not enough permanent structures for shade on hot/sunny days. You have people spending good hard-earned money but they bake in the sun because there is very limited places to find refuge from the sun. Please provide more covered areas for shade. Otherwise, it's a great venue for outdoor festivals!

I was at the BVJ and stopped by the market. I found this year the selection of goods not the same variety as previous years.

Every year top artists arrive for 4 days for fun and entertaining, I worked the trade show this year along side by brother who has worked this fair for many years on stage as the hypnotist. I was lucky enough to have a back stage access, worth the trip.
