I was staying at the Fairmont cos the aesthetic of the old architecture does it for me, but I have to say the service at the Westin is top notch, and I’ll be coming back. From check in to check out the staff were available and friendly. I enjoy the details like the bedtime roller oil to help relax, a nice Starbucks in the lobby and the rooftop pool and gym area is awesome. I’d highly recommend.

The Westin Calgary is an excellent hotel. The rooms, food, and customer service was exceptional. We were especially impressed with Max, who took care of us, when my husband was sick. Because my husband was sick, we had to stay an extra two days at the hotel. He helped us acquire transportation to our next destination to meet up with our tour group. He ensured that we were comfortable at the hotel and had all we needed. The hotel even made special chicken noodle soup for my husband as he recovered. I highly recommend this hotel. The Westin is also centrally located in downtown Calgary. Accessibility to shopping and points of interest.
