During Stampede week, great stuff They turned upstairs into a bar / sports / restaurant. Lots of potential. Essentially it's a 2 floor building with a restaurant and vast room to set up whatever you would like. I don't know what it cost to rent space but they have had curling events, trade shows etc.

This place was a Godsend! Table service, shelter and AC combined with downright cheap BBQ that was delicious! Got the sample platter and everything was great. Crazy selection of beer I'd NEVER heard of which is odd because I drink all kinds of beer. Beer prices were nuts, but that's a Stampede thing.

Visited the Big Four Building during Stampede when it housed the food court. There was a reasonable choice of food with Tim Horton's winning the prize for the longest queue. The food court was very busy and seating was at a premium. I had southern fried chicken and chips and found them very tasty and quite substantial...a pleasant surprise. Others in my group didn't have such a good experience, receiving rather bland, tasteless fare. I would recommend staggering meal times in order to avoid traditional breakfast/lunch/dinnertime slots...the eating experience will undoubtedly be a quicker and a more enjoyable one.

Saw Blue Rodeo on Sunday July 8, 2018.. The $100 ticket said 3 p.m., Blue Rodeo did not take the stage until 9 p.m. Waiting 6 hours was unacceptable after paying $100 per ticket. The marketing of the event and what to expect was exceptionally poor. I was less than impressed. On top of that there was no assigned seating although the tickets led you to believe there was. Getting into the building was ridiculous as you had to stand in the hot sun, and in a very long, very slow moving line. Overall this venue is not suited for decent bands and the whole event was poorly managed. I will never attend another function in this building.

My boyfriend and I were here for Calgary expo (2018). The big four building held Artist's alley and the food court situation. The staff were well prepared and helpful. It was easy getting around even with the masses of people. Going up and down the stairs was even easy which surprised me. The upstairs was set up well and interestingly enough had tattooing. There were hundreds of booths with amazing artists. Getting between the booths was difficult at times but I don't think we were ever at a stand still for long. The building got very warm with all the people in it but I think they turned the a/c up because it cooled down quickly. The downstairs had multiple food vendors including Tim Hortons, subway, new York fries, a pizza place and a fried chicken place (I'm sure I'm forgetting more) even though the lines were pretty long the staff kept the lines moving quickly. The food vendors we're not full sized and didn't carry everything the regular restaurants do but there was enough to make everyone happy. It was surprisingly easy to find seating both times we were here
