We had our wedding ceremony and reception at this venue. It is a great location and I would highly recommend it. There is a beautiful outdoor ceremony spot overlooking the hills in Cochrane with the Rocky Mountains in the distance although they also provide a great backup indoor location (Hall of Vision) with a large fireplace/hearth. We had our reception in the Chinook Hall which is a large room with wood beams and lots of natural light. Jane (events coordinator) was super easy to work with, quick to respond and accommodating of our requests. The other staff was very helpful all day during setup and takedown. You must select one of their approved caterers although we ended up going with Gourmet to Go cater our event and our guests loved them. Definitely not a negative. Although neither me or my fiancé are from Cochrane, our guests appreciated the short commute from Calgary.

Perfect location for weddings and confrences! My girlfriend was married here and it is the only location I would want if I ever get married again

The facility itself is nice, but the access and egress from Hwy 22 is troublesome. Having to detour through a residential community and a school zone to get back to the highway is a pain.

Nice looking facility. Very clean every time I was there.

We had our wedding reception here in September 2017, and could not be more pleased with our choice. The wedding coordinator was lovely, and was easy to work with during each stage of our wedding planning, up to the event and afterward. It is expensive, but very much worth it based on the beautiful setting, the absence of other events, (no other bookings on same day so you have the venue to yourself) and the courtyard is a perfect addition to your indoor function space. Thank you Ranchehouse, you MADE our event!
