As a volunteer member of the Ohaton Athletic Association I would like to provide pictures so that everyone has an opportunity to see the kinds of damage that did result in holdback of a portion of the damage deposit for the July 8, 2017 weekend rental. The 'scratches' in the wood dance floor are definite and the pattern shows that stacks of chairs were dragged and not moved via the chair dolly provided. As witnessed, they were not dragged at time of cleanup but WERE at some point of the weekend rental dragged as a stack. The vomit in the ladies bathroom was the reason for additional janitorial expense incurred. The contract clearly states that damages incurred and failure to abide by the contract rules will result in partial or full holdback of damage deposit. There is a reason we collect a damage deposit - for damages!

Nice hall but they are scammers when it comes to leaving. We cleaned everything and had it exactly the way it was when we left. We got called back to wipe the water drops out of a sink, and told to clean the stove (which we did not touch or cook on)... not only that, but we spent extra time cleaning stuff we didnt dirty but also had to tidy up the tables in their storage room even though we had never touched them. The old man was there watching us move chairs (WHICH WERE ON THE DOLLY THAT HE BROUGHT OUT TO US) and they still blamed us for "scratches" on the floor.... and for some reason took an extra 25 dollars from us for a janitor??? So in total they took 125 dollars from us after we did EXTRA work for them. Our wedding was july 8th and it is now august 1st and i just got my damage back. DO NOT USE THIS HALL. It is not worth the hassel. Trust me. Do not let them fool you. There was zero scratches, and ZERO mess for anyone to clean. I guess lying through their teeth is how they manage to scrape up an extra hundred.... pathetic! Acting like it was some huge party where people were scratching the floors and puking.... like no... there was 25 people there and probably 20 of those people stood outside cause it was too hot inside... nice try lady! Hahaha must be so poor they need to take money from newly weds... hahaha effing JOKE!
