My friend had her wedding at this venue, this past Saturday night. Her experience with this venue was horrible. Instead of making this an easy process for the bride on her wedding day, the staff stressed her out. I understand there are rules/regulations that the venue must follow regarding the use of sparklers and dry ice. It is the venues responsibility to inform the client BEFORE the event. During the event, the staff came up with different variations of excuses as to why they were not allowed to do certain things. As for the cocktail hour, they paid to have it on the terrace, to get the views. Yes, we get it, MOTHER NATURE! Yes, it rained. But they paid for a view and were told that in the event of rain, the cocktail hour would be moved to the Promenade room upstairs, where you can still see the view. Instead, it was moved to the Oak room, all the way to the 1st floor when the reception was being held in the penthouse. The owner and the staff are extremely rude. Even the response the owner had to my friends review was so unprofessional. We can all use CAPS to make our point. No need to be rude and obnoxious. Going forward, I will not recommend this venue to anyone.

I did not even choose this place due to how incompetent they were over the phone. I called and was transferred 3 times because nobody knew who to transfer me to. When I finally talk to someone that is supposed to know, I say "I am interested in renting your venue space for a wedding reception". The guy says, "We are a catering hall, we do not do that". I ask "So you only prepare the food and deliver it?". He says "No, we prepare the food and we have a space for wedding ceremonies"... I say "Exactly! That is exactly what I am looking for!"... then he says "Ok sir, how can I help you?" ... At this point I'm just losing it due to the level of incompetence and lack of knowledge from these employees. How do you do business? NEVER IN MY LIFE WILL I STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE OR EVEN RECOMMEND IT. No professionals, no knowledge, complete incompetence.

Had my prom here and absolutely had a blast. It's a beautiful venue, with a large variety of food and drinks. The all you can eat buffet has surprisingly high quality dishes, the ice cream bar speaks for itself, and the drink station has wonderful tenders and a variety of soft drinks and virgin cocktails. The DG takes suggestions and can really get the party stared.

It is nice for the price, looks excellent and according to whet they told me they give a lot of food. The only reason why I gave it 2 stars, it’s because the person that I talked to, was trying to scam me! I talked to Jenny and she told me that for 2019, the prices where going to go up $10 per person to do a wedding without alcohol! I contacted another person from there, they told me the price with alcohol was the same as this year. Got really mad when I realized she was trying to book her next vacation with me. Please bc aware of her! Not flexible at all.

Friends of mine got married here on July 21, 2018 and I couldn’t be more disappointed with the service. Everyone from management all the way to the servers were terrible. The evening started out with the cocktail hour being held in a completely different room than was discussed, although granted Mother Nature has plans of her own, there was a place previously agreed upon if this does occur. Then just minutes before the ceremony started, the couple was told they would not be able to have the enterance that they planned because of various different reasons that were different with everyone that spoke with them. If this is a problem, aren’t you supposed to let your clients know in advance, not a few minutes before the ceremony? When the DJ tried help come to a resolution, the management staff decides to tell him he isn’t allowed to be a Dj there ever again. RUDE! That DJ is an amazing one and this place has no idea what it has lost. Lastly, the staff didn’t get our dinner orders correct and during my husband’s speech (the best man), the staff was picking up all of the plates and making a tremendous amount of noise while taking it away. This affected the toast and the overall speech. We wanted to get married here last year but we are glad we thought otherwise. The last thing you want is an unhappy bride on her wedding day. Very unfortunate.
