This is a place that I have frequented for years. It is truly unique. The people are amazing, the instructors are awesome and the atmosphere is wonderful. The love of jazz music and the wonderful community makes this my favourite place to be.

Sugar Swing entranced me from my very first drop in lesson during their signature Saturday night Stomp! From there they provided a safe, friendly, playful and inclusive environment for me to grow and groove all the way from a baby beginner to an instructor and performer! A life changing underground scene in Edmonton that promotes vintage jazz, swing, tap, blues and more. Highly recommend.

Had a really positive experience as a renter. we recently had a large wedding reception at the hall and we received so much support from Birkley and Elyse throughout the whole process. Considering I had so many questions, I think they were a dream to deal with. Really beautiful space. Happy we went with Sugar Swing!

Participated in the Friday night intro class and it was a blast. Nice big location with lots of street parking. Music was fantastic and after intro class, people of all levels dancing and practicing. Planning on signing up for September classes!

A highly recommendable, charming and very friendly place to meet people and dance, with an even better staff to learn or improve how to swing it. Everybody is nice and helpful, no matter the skills or the level, and they have built a community where everybody matters and adds value. They always have something going on, so check their website and social media to keep updated (and save the date for Lindy Harvest 2017: this year's was awesome!).
