This venue was beautiful, but the owner was a horrible piece of work. complained vigoriously about the children that were at My Cousins Wedding. There were at least 10 children ages 14 to 4 who were told before the wedding started not to touch anything. After the ceremony was over the children were simply chasing each other around and playing in the grass. The owner demanded that they stop and sit down or go find their parents. The wait staff hovered around the tables as we ate our meal asking us over and over if we were finished yet, removing place settings from tables even if youwere not finished your meal. Prior to dinner the owner walked around the tables taking away place settings. Some guests had gone to get a drink and she tried to take their settings away. My Son was one of those who almost did not have a plate. Supper was buffet style but if you wanted a second helping we were not given a clean plate. I believe this is a food safety violation. The barn where the reception was housed was ICE COLD and they refused to turn on any of the patio heaters till some one paid them extra to do so. We were freezing before they finally lit the fireplace inside the barn or the patio heaters. I would not recommend this facility. Although it is nice to look at it is the most cold and unfriendly venue I have ever attended.
