Great place for an outdoor wedding as you can rent the venue (tables, chairs, and large tent included) for less than a tent that size would cost to rent on it's own. The gardens are beautiful, and they usually have flowers for the occasion if the season wasn't bad. The staff are friendly and helpful if you aren't sure how to arrange things. Renting the kitchen is extra, but you can bring your own caterer in if needed. Although expensive to rent, the cabin is very convenient for pre wed couples to setup the venue, but the beds are rock hard. (Love the claw foot tub though)

Was here for a wedding. Its a brilliant venue (if you are going for an outdoorish, rustic looking event). Absolutely beautiful view.

We enjoyed a brunch, that was fairly simple but filling, in a beautiful outdoor setting with good music. Then we walked around the gardens for over an hour. Well worth the visit.
