We've driven by here for years and, for some reason, never stopped. This year, on our annual trip north, the place caught my eye. I decided we'd stop on our journey south. I'm glad we did! It's a great place to take a rest. Well-maintained grounds for stretching your legs and picnic tables if you prefer to eat. The real bonus, of course, is the collection of heritage buildings. Everything is informative and well-labelled. The young lady in the museum was particularly well-informed and was a treat to talk to. Stop just driving by; drop in.

The museum is a lovely collection of artifacts and a beautiful capture of life in that time. Very well put together and very well preserved. I've travelled by numerous times over the years and never stopped in before, and sure glad I did. A great historical gem worth stopping in to check out as you pass through the Cariboo.

Lots of history, lots to see. Staff are very kind and helpful without being overbearing, and let you wander on your own. Gift shop has unique and beautiful pieces

Stopped here to stretch the legs out. The grounds were in great shape. All the buildings were well labeled. And lots of cool info on the site.
