One of the best B&B's I've ever stayed at. Elegant, comfortable, clean with stunning views and a glorious garden full of flowers. Hosts are fantastic.

I have been wanting to stay at this bnb for years. The location is absolutely beautiful and every time I visit my sister in Bellingham we have wanted to book a room but it just never worked out until July 5th. After an eleven hour drive we (my 71 year old mother and I) showed up to check in at 7:00 pm. We were looking forward to a few hours of relaxation and were taken for a tour and shown to our room. When we walked in the room was hot and totally humid- a thromostat in the bathroom indicated the temperature was 81 degrees. We expressed our displeasure at how hot it was in the room and the woman who was showing us around said they were having trouble with the air conditioner (another room was too cold and a guest asked them to turn the AC off). We asked if we could open the windows and were told no because they didn’t have screens on them and they had an ant problem. Needless to say, we were very disappointed and at $200 per night this was not acceptable. When we asked what our recourse was because there was no way we could sleep there our tour guide said that we needed to talk to the owner who was out of town. Once the owner was on the line my mother told the her that the room was too hot and there was no way that we could sleep there. The owner said that the room would cool down by 10:30 PM and we said that wasn’t acceptable it should be ready at check in. The owner then rudely told my mother that she could “handle it” because she was from Arizona and told her that we would be charged the entire amount (3 days) or $700 even if we didn’t stay or eat there. She was so rude that my mother was in tears. We told her that she should keep our deposit but we couldn’t sleep in that room and left. We stayed at a hotel and sure enough three weeks later they charged my mother’s credit card which we will be disputing. Beware!! These people have NO business being in the customer service industry. What a shame and waste of a beautiful location.
