I cannot say enough great things about Melissa. She truly is the most amazing photographer out there! Not only does she make sure your pictures are stunning, she goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. We enjoyed every minute we spent with her, and our pictures are perfect. Melissa is a gem- and Bake Photography is top notch!

Melissa shot our wedding in February 2018, and did the best job we could have imagined! Her and her friend Scott put in such a great effort to capture every moment of our special day, and their work really shows. Their style really fit what we wanted and we couldn't be happier! I would recommend Bake Photography to anyone for engagement, wedding, or any other style of photography!

I saw Melissa's work and literally planned our big day around her schedule so that we could have her as our photographer. I love the artistic approach that she takes with her photos. Every single one comes out beautiful and tells a story. Melissa made us feel very comfortable during our engagement session, and we really felt like we got to know her leading up to our wedding. She even met me to pick the perfect location for our Pacific Spirit Park elopement. Her vendor recommendations were great, and everyone loved working with her. She's so fun! Our photos arrived fast, and we loved having prints. We wish we could have her around to record all of our precious moments! I felt beautiful and will appreciate our photos for the rest of our lives.

I can't say enough how highly I recommend Melissa for any photos you may need! Everything Melissa does is beautiful. Our engagement session was so much fun. Melissa made people who feel a little uncomfortable in front of the camera feel relaxed and at ease. She takes advantage of the beautiful, natural surroundings and tells a story through her images. Melissa joined us in Whistler for our wedding rehearsal and scouted out the best places for photos throughout the day in terms of lighting, interest etc. Melissa is also a qualified teacher and it shows through her organization and ability to coordinate so many different personalities when the excitement and energy level is high. We were so glad that she recommended we do a "first look" prior to the ceremony. This was such a special moment for us and she captured it beautifully. We also did the bridal party photos before the ceremony which meant we actually had time to enjoy our guests at cocktail hour and be present for the reception. The first look also made us more relaxed during the ceremony as we had already seen each other and had some laughs within the bridal party. We received hundreds of photos from Melissa - everyone we show has remarked that they are the best photos they have every seen. We agree. We are in the process of trying to pick our favourites and are struggling because we love them all. We are so thankful that she provided us with such a wonderful memory of our day.
