This is my favorite go-dancing place in Victoria. Different dance parties sometimes hold here on Friday or Saturday nights. You don't have to pay the cover if you don't have money. This makes everyone feels welcoming, and melts my heart a little bit. Some fun events open to public as well. You may want to check their website for event calendar. They have plenty seats and a nice bar too.

Great venue -a must if you like live theatre and music. Many fringe type shows. Has a guitar shaped bar and nice stage with plenty of good seating.

I love going to the events held at the VEC! I always do my best to make the time and support local shows and dances. Affordable covers and I love the energy and atmosphere. A tidbit small for the venue so make sure to show up early for whatever event you plan to show up for!

Fun multipurpose space with bar and dancefloor. Lots of great events.

The VEC is up a long flight of stairs and although they have an elevator, they continually say their is no money to fix it. So instead, folks continually organize events here that create a massive barrier to tons of folks with disabilities. The suggestion is "we will carry people up and down".... really? I don;t know about you, but I wouldn't wanna get carried up a scary-steep flight of stairs and 'trust' that in an emerg I'd get carried down. It is 2018. Fix your elevator already.
