It's a nice venue for a party but is better suited for the summer. I attended a party here recently and the view of the lake was beautiful up until about 5pm. The sun went down at 4:30pm and after 5pm you couldn't tell if it was a view of a lake or a dark field. Some lighting to accent the lake would go a long way. If hosting a party here I would also suggest scheduling atleast a couple hours for cleanup afterwards.

Beautiful old clubhouse/hall on the edge of Burnaby Lake, ducks, geese and mountain views

Nice place to relax and fish

Went for a wedding here - beautiful spot on the water, great venue fits 100+ people, except during summer it gets hot as balls in there. If there's a/c, it doesn't work. Guy from the live band told me it's been that way for years, since he played a wedding there last time.
