Quiet, beautiful, and off the grid. Great place for a retreat!

Always so beautiful and peaceful on Savary. Long white sand beaches and warm ocean for swimming. The island is home to Eagles, deer, owls and many other birds.

Quiet fun almost all are friendly, you can go to riggers for an ice cream or go to the beach and have a swim. You could also go to the dock down at doe row and go dock jumping if you wish. Or if you are staying mid island you could go to the Hilltop by the propane depot and get cheep candy, chips and pop, or go further and head over towards the meadows beach on Tennyson road and go to the locally famous Sugar Shack and get candy, pop, chocolate, even donuts all at savory island.

Not exactly the swimming paradise that we expected. The water was cold and it was difficult to find a lot of good sandy beaches from any guide. The island is remote, expensive and takes most of a day to get to. There are no bathroom facilities, few stores and little in the way of transportation.

Savary has the best beaches in BC. There's little to do on the island except relax, kayak and go for walks.
