The lodge when I was there was reserved for a private function which was not a big deal. I really enjoyed my hike around the area. Lots of beautiful things to see and take pictures of. There are lots of trails that loop and lots of lakes that is worth hiking and checking out. This was my first time here and when I come back to visit my friends on the island I want to check this place out again.

Although Raven Lodge was reserved for a private function, we still enjoyed our hike yet wrapped in winter's snowy blanket rapidly melting and streaming down into Paradise Meadows many vistas viewed around Battleship & Helen Makenzie Lakes and their connecting trails.

This establishment needs to figure out that tourism starts in May, not when the snow melts, for summer activities. This mountain is better as a ski hill. It's actually open then.

This is the Nordic lodge for the mountain resort. It's a beautiful wood beam structure with wide-open spaces on the interior. It's the perfect place to sit between the Nordic run, or after some time spent on the snowshoe trails. Enjoy your sandwich and coffee, buy a beer or enjoy a soda either inside in the windowed lobby, or outside on the deck. The views of distant Mount Albert Edward, Mount Allen-Brooks and Mount Elma are visible on a clear day.

I went cross country skiing here. The staff are friendly and helpful. The layout of the building is good as the restaurant and small shop are upstairs and the rental and waxing area are downstairs. The trails close to the lodge are reasonably flat. Idyllic in good conditions.
