I had a great experience on a recent stay-cation with my family. The room was nice (I especially appreciated the full kitchen and huge granite island) and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The resort location was perfect; a short walk to the beach and minutes away from everywhere we wanted to visit in Parksville. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay recently, the pool was great and the room was clean our kids had a great time. However we stayed in room 242 which is the top floor suite for this building and we were disappointed that the room had only a very small noisey portable ac unit that ran continuous and would not keep our room less then 25 degrees furthermore there was no ac for the separate bedroom which was even hotter and made sleeping difficult. This is the only reason that we would not give them a 5 star review.

I stayed here with my wife on our first vacation without kids in nearly 5 years. Overall, our experience was really good. The staff were all well-trained and friendly. Brandy at the front desk was particularly accommodating and nice to chat with when we went through the lobby. The room was clean and well-equipped and felt quite upscale to me with granite counters and nice furniture and a HUGE tub. Seriously, you could fit three people in the tub...if you're into that kind of thing. As we were here in April, we didn't get a chance to use the pool but the hot tub was clean and accessible each time we wanted to use it. There were a couple of small, easily remedied inconveniences which is why I've left 4 stars rather than 5. First, our particular room is directly next to the walking path down to the beach so we had to keep our blinds closed (the main source of light) if we wanted privacy. This could be easily fixed with a hedge or divider of some sort. The only other thing is that there is no door sweep on the interior door. Our suite had an exterior door that lead to two separate interior suites. There was a gap of over an inch beneath this interior door which meant that we could hear much of what was happening in the hallway (people coming and going, laundry etc.) as well as some noise from the next suite. An easy fix, and not that big of a deal. Overall, a good experience and we will happily come back. Thanks for a great stay.

Nice location for Vancouver Island activities, well equipped rooms, beautiful tidal beach. Love it!

Lovely location, beech access is steep but manageable although it isn't sandy, great for rock pooling though! Pool is well maintained as is the grounds.
