I can not say enough amazing things about Mathias and is photography. As a photographer, he is calm, cool, collected, professional and a ton of fun to hang out with! His photos are nothing short of perfection. We got our engagment shoot images back very quickly and we are in love with how they turned out. The framing, lighting, editing and location scouting are all top notch. We really felt that he captured our relationship and enjoyed the whole process. 10/10 would recommend Mathias for your special day.

We can not say enough praise for Mathias' work! When we got engaged, the first thing we did (after telling family, of course!) was book his photography services. We are so glad we did. Working with Mathias was a dream come true for me because, I had actually been looking for rustic wedding venues in BC on Google, when I found the most breathtaking photos( of a wedding he shot on Lightning Lake at Manning Park) which led me to his page. I instantly booked that venue and sought to get in touch with him. From the first coffee meeting we loved Mathias. He was super approachable, easy to talk to and very professional. He instantly got our vibe of wanting something very rustic and relaxed and gave us wonderful input and suggestions on how to proceed. On the wedding day, he was so helpful and since he had shot there before he knew exactly where to go and get the best lighting but, at the same time, he was also happy to take photos of what we had specifically asked for as well. I always felt super comfortable and natural. Some of my favorite photos are the ones he came up with on the spot and were very spontaneous. I can't imagine our day now without those iconic pictures(one was even featured in a wedding blog) and how much fun, laughing and adventure went into them behind the scenes. I ran through thick forest brush and dirt in my long lace dress, and climbed up a ladder to a two storey abandoned cabin/shed. We took pictures between the downpour of rain on a mountain top and caught a photo with a rainbow. By the end of it my dress was filthy but it was incredible and I wouldn't have had it any other way. Thank you Mathias for a lifetime of wonderful memories!

We absolutely loved working with Mathias. We look back on our wedding day and when you think of who you spend the most amount of time with its your photographer and we are so happy it was him! Here's are a few reasons why he made it such a great experience: 1. He makes you feel really comfortable 2. He can easily make you laugh 3. He has a non-intrusive way of capturing candid shots 4. He is excellent at capturing photos of children and pets 5. He uses objects in the foreground and background to create dramatic depth effects 6. He is phenomenal at capturing landscape and outdoor scenery 7. He has the cutest dimples Full disclosure: We have known Mathias for many years. We interviewed 3 other photographers, but went with Mathias because we trusted him and his portfolio of work. Keep in mind, most couples spend more with their photographer on wedding day than anyone else, so chose your photographer wisely!

We can’t say enough great things about Mathias! His work is beautiful. He is also amazingly easy to work with. He has an ability to make you feel at ease while he is taking your photos which allows him to capture candid moments so effortlessly and beautifully. He went above and beyond his role as our photographer. He offered his help to us on our wedding day, which is one thing we shall always remember in addition to our beautiful wedding photos.
