We stayed here for 3 days. We had one of their private cabins, it was very nice, a cabin in the woods. The resort has a great work out facility, with an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. Very clean and well kept. There are bike rentals (a bit $$$) and the resort is close enough to other destinations like golf, mini put, other cute little towns to explore and a good trail to bike or hike. The beach was great and when the tide goes out it was so fun to walk out and follow the ocean.

Rooms in the spa section are a little dated but well kept. Front desk staff somewhat officious and cold...could not find my reservation initially "because I booked though a third party." Announced they automatically put a hold on credit card for amount considerably more than cost of one night I had booked. Said it was for a " room damage deposit???" Beach a longish walk away from spa rooms. Bed very comfortable... but overall suspect there are better values out there. Wanted to be impressed...but was not. There are too many other places to spend ones vacation dollar...places that will work hard to make you feel welcome and valued as a customer.

Best stay we've had on the island, great rooms, great vibe, freshest air imaginable, good food, super epic beach, family friendly (accept for the adult pool and spa) The beach is amazing though.. They film a lot of the show Chesapeake Shores at that same beach. My fiance always gets excited when she sees our favorite ocean front room in the background of a scene.. we look for the big arbutus tree in front. Can't wait to come back after our son is born.

I’ve been going there for 3 years now. This year the experience was horrible. First day I couldn’t find parking by or near my room. Second day the didn’t clean my room. My stay was horrible. I will not be returning. It is very sad that this was supposed to be a relaxing stress free vacation, turned out to be the stressful and horrible stay. I did pay 280 a night with horrible service. I will not be returning. I believe their customer service has disappointed me.

Nice range of rooms. Great prices in the off season, try and get on of the packages for a better deal. Outdoor playground, tennis, BBQ, kids club....lots of activities for the family. There is also a decent gym. Easy recommendation.
