I got married here. It was beautiful and precisely what we wanted. The care-taker was extremely helpful and made our experience go smoothly. We have been there numerous times for events and walks and we always love being there. It's a beautiful spot and really a hidden gem in Coquitlam.

Very nice for a small wedding venue. One negative tho is extreme lack of parking. ..only 15 spots and any other parking is mile's away. But for walking the trails, it is very pretty.

Lots of movies get filmed here at this lodge. Riverdale was actually filmed here. The queen used to use this lodge back in the day when she used to come hunting/shooting. Now it's been converted to a public space ehich has openhouses every other Sunday for everyone and is used for weddings. There is almost ALWAYS bears on the drive to this lodge so please be careful driving, do not speed, as the cubs cross the street all the time. Also be mindful of loud music and keep yourself aware as there could be a bear walking next to you a few feet away
