I would absolutely recommend the House of the Friesians to anyone. We were there for a wedding and used the barn and the shelter. The barn had ample space and the beds and bedding were so comfortable. The shelter was gorgeous with amazing views of the mountains and was a perfect space for such an important celebration. Logistically, the barn and the shelter had everything we needed to pull off amazing meals together and an incredible weekend overall. The land that the House of the Friesians is on is so peaceful and serene. It was such a welcomed retreat and soothed the soul. In addition to the wonderful space itself, what really made our stay at the House of the Friesians, were the owners. They are the most caring and generous people, always working hard to ensure that your stay is as wonderful as it could possibly be. They go above and beyond in every matter and genuinely care. It's hard to put into words how special this place really is; I recommend that you go and see for yourself.

Gerard, Ciao and their family are amongst the nicest, welcoming and heartwarming people I have ever had the chance of meeting. My sister's wedding weekend recently at there home would not have been nearly as amazing without them. Their venue is second to none and every little detail at the location makes you feel welcomed. They were constantly telling us "please just treat this place as your home" 100% the genuine deal.

Just attended a most beauty-full wedding held at the House of the Friesians. Truly, an incredible weekend!! Our hosts, Caio and Gerard Paagman are 2 of the most generous, caring people I've ever met, and they set the tone for such an intimate, fun, love-filled ceremony and stay. The buildings and the grounds are impeccable and warm, and truly, love just fills the air. It was an incredible "holiday" , and we can't wait to return!

This family. The Paagman's. Truly the most beautiful, thoughtful, genuine humans we will ever meet. This weekend we all leave humbled, grounded and with hearts wide open because of this family. We came here to celebrate love and got so much more than we expected from this experience. Thank you House of the Friesians for the best weekend of our lives. -The Woodmans
