I love the smell of campfire as you pull up to the property. The property has been renovated and is so great now! Definitely needed the update and refresh. The rooms are nice, the restaurants are great, and love that there is a cafe/market (can grab sandwiches, snacks, salads, coffee). Lots of areas to sit around and lounge. The lobby bar is fantastic and they have the BEST homemade potato chips. I have not been to the new Nordic Spa yet, but heard it’s amazing and gets quite busy now. So if you want a massage during your stay, book at least a month in advance. The only con is the air conditioning doesn’t work in the rooms and could get quite hot in there.

Amazing place to stay and visit. Why? -Pets Allowed -Delicious food at Blacktail Bar and Forte -Clean -Available parking underground (for a small fee of course) -Great views -Nice walking paths for the dogs -Although I didn't get a chance to go to the Nordic Spa because I'm pregnant, it looks amazing. The idea of hot, warm and cold pools sounds rejuvenating. -The renovations to the hotel pool looks spectacular compared to before -The customer service is phenomenal. it's overall great place to stay and it's so relaxing that we have made it an annual destination. The only minor thing I would get them to work on is to make the A.C. unit not so loud other than that I'd come back!

Customer service was outstanding, hotel itself was lacking. First, we booked a room with two queens, but when we got to the hotel there were only king rooms left. The front desk was extremely apologetic and gave us free breakfast during our stay. When we got to our room, the room was very hot (the air in the hallway was way cooler than the room). There was no air conditioning in our room (only heat) and when hotel staff came to check, they said they could not address the issue until the next day. There was a space fan in the room and a laminated note discussing how to keep the room cool (open patio door at night, keep lights off, keep curtains closed during the day). Obviously, with a laminated note, this is a common concern. When paying the price one does for this hotel, one would expect to have functioning air conditioning. We left after one night. The hotel was very accommodating and understood our concerns. They fully refunded the money for our stay.

This is a beautiful resort and hotel. First greeted by the scents of a campfire at valet parking. The lobby is gorgeous and cozy. The lounge bar is well designed and the homemade potatoe chips while having a cocktail was a great touch. The ballroom and conference rooms were great. The food was fantastic for such a large event. Unfortunately the thermostat was broken in our room and even though we request it be fixed it wasn't and we didn't receive a follow up. I stayed here in November of 2017 and unfortunately they didn't let me know in advance that the spa was down prior to check in. Looking forward to heading back again and enjoying the much talked about spa.

This was a very disappointing experience for 500 a night, the room was beyond horrific we ordered two kids meals and two chickens, and another dish,we got one chicken with room temperature chicken very salty and cold fries along with two adult pizzas from la forte which were 20 bucks each. Mind we're it took 1hour and 40 to get to are no air-conditioned room which was steaming, and the ETA of the food was 45 minutes. So after that they gave us 2 free breakfast and 1 supper for the rest of our stay. Also our autograph collection package came with breakfast but we had to argue with the front desk for a while just to receive them. The hot tub was also Luke warm, the pool is 3 feet deep and either hotter than the hot tub, or freezing cold, the kid section had so many safety hazards I'm concerned there are massive pipes intruding the shallow end, and the tile separating the two pool had no corners so the kids can easily scrape their hands, they had nice tennis courts and a bigger play structure which was great, the bathroom does not have a lock in any rooms even the family suite that's sleeps 6,overall it was disappointing service throughout our visit, the fire in the front looks nice entering until you realize all you're clothes smell like smoke l, until you pay 20$ to wash 1 white t-shirt,the environment around was nice and there is great lookout points to get pictures, there is also nice bike and hiking trails overall we expected a much better experience.
