Cool place to hike, went with friends on his glowing recommendation, after our hike we went to the patio to eat a late lunch. The lunch menu is very lackluster, wasn't impressed at all with it, originally I didn't even want to eat there after seeing the menu, but my friends ordered food so I did as well. I got the soup and sandwich of the day. When the server brought out our food the soup was different than what she told us. She should have told us this before bringing it out, since she just assumed I would be ok with whatever it was. It was a potato leek soup that had no flavour at all since the chefs had never heard of tasting it before serving and clearly did not believe in seasoning the food. Extremely mediocre food so I was pretty disappointed since my friend talked it up a bunch before we went there but the service was alright and the scenery was pretty so I'm giving it 3 stars. Maybe the dinner menu is better? Not sure, but I paid $14 for crappy food and my friend paid $20 for a burger and mushy toast (he's gluten free but they didn't have any buns and so gave him toast and then didn't toast it so = mushy toast... He was not impressed.) I would probably give it one more try but only if I was in the area, not if I had to travel to go visit it.
