This is a very nice boutique hotel. Stylish and in a great setting direct at the lake and with very friendly staff and can strongly recommend staying there. Food was also excellent. We had dinner in the restaurant which was also really good. Some of the cocktails were a bit too experimental for my taste.

Quality of food was not as delicious and presentable as past years, over priced for the quality and quantity you get and the menu selection for lunch was similar to what you would receive at your neighborhood pub or common restaurant. That's how I felt about their lunch menu, maybe dinner has more to offer. Sunday brunch is always worth a try. View is always beautiful as it is right on the lake, when we went in May it was a sunny day but the winds kept blowing my hair in my face and made it a tad chilly by the water so the blankets they had to offer made dining outside more comfortable with the outside heaters

Went to the restaurant for dinner. The patio is fantastic, if you can get a seat on the boardwalk the view is even better. I was extremely pleased with the service, everyone we came across was smiling, pleasant, and helpful. The food was delicious and flavourful. Excellent, and well labeled gluten free selection, nearly the whole menu has gluten free options.

I rarely post reviews that are negative. But, after frequenting The Hotel in Eldorado for over 20 years I feel like I can be a fairly reliable person to talk about it. I have booked meetings here, had my stag here, had my wedding here, been to dinner here a thousand times, been into the pub even more than that, rented boats, rented JetSki’s, and have been a guest overnight many times as well. I’ve recommended this hotel to my business associates, I have recommended this place to my friends and family when they have come to visit, and I have been a brand ambassador for it’s service, food, and natural beauty. I haven’t always loved the direction the hotel has gone. They’ve change menus, changed ownership, and changed the way they view their customers. I’ve still been loyal waiting for them to find their footing again. I went for dinner there on June 29, 2018. We didn’t spend a lot of money but it’s always 100 bucks at the Eldorado. After dinner, I went to my vehicle and found a $63 ticket on my windshield. Now, you have to remember over the past 20 years there has been no need to register your vehicle. Of course, I was very surprised. I went inside hotel and asked if they would be open to canceling this ticket as I have spent tens of thousands of dollars at this establishment over the years. They said no. Call Diamond. I’ll pay this ticket. But, I’ll never forget the loyalty I didn’t receive in return.
