Stephen and I can't say enough good things about Steve and Tara. They spontaneously caught our engagement out at Red Rock Canyon in Las Vegas. They approached in the middle of our engagement and joined in the celebration with us. They even had champagne for us; what are those odds!! They generously shared the images they captured with us and they assisted us in looking for a wedding photographer when they were already booked. Professionally, they exceeded our expectations, were very down to earth, and happy to help us in any way that they could. Personally, their attitudes are contagious and they are genuinely passionate about what they do. Such great people! Highly recommend working with them!

I'd like to take a moment to talk about Tara + Steve both as people, and professionals (because although their talent matters, it's not even close to being everything that counts). Tara + Steve are incredibly considerate, self-less humans who fill their entire lives with everything they love, and who love fully with the entirety of their hearts. They are passionate about making people happy. They create immense value for everyone they encounter, be it longtime friends or complete strangers (and often those strangers turn into longtime friends, as I speak from personal experience). All of these qualities translate into the work they produce and the art they make. They are certainly industry leaders, but they go beyond taking [insanely gorgeous] photographs. They create meaningful connections and preserve all those little details for you to always remember. xx

Tara did a beautiful job of capturing our wedding day. We were so thrilled to be able to have her as our photographer. She really listened to us from the start and captured some gorgeous candid shots. She brought some calm to the hectic during our wedding day, patiently capturing all the important shots, and guiding us well to getting the important shots right as well. We love every photo she took and are so glad we picked her as our photographer for our wedding and engagement shots.

BEST wedding photographers out there! Steve captured our day perfectly, and we love the emotion in every single photo. Not only does this team create amazing photos, but they make their clients and family and friends feel so comfortable and at ease. So many of our family and friends came up to us asking about Steve, because he was so friendly and easy going! Can't thank this team enough for our beautiful photos, and DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful photography!

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Tara and Steve for our engagement photos and wedding day photos in 2012 and 2013, and are so grateful for the beautiful images they captured of that special time. They are super easy to work with, make you feel relaxed in front of the camera, are creatively brilliant, and lots of fun too! They captured so many awesome candid moments from our wedding, which we are so happy to now have as memories. We got married in January, and when we suggested doing a few photos outside I thought they would hesitate because it was so cold. But instead, their eyes lit up and I knew they were thinking of unique ideas for photos to capture outside. They took us on the streetcar, got some shots of us walking down the street, in a local bakery, and on the grounds of our venue in the snow. They were totally game to have fun with us, get beautiful snowy photos, even with the cooler temperature. Many of our friends who attended our wedding were so impressed with seeing how Steve and Tara fit so seamlessly into our wedding day, that they went on to hire them to shoot their weddings too. Fast forward five years, and Steve was able to come photograph us with our new baby. She was pretty unhappy the whole time, as new babies can be, but Steve was super relaxed which made us relaxed, and we got these beautiful images of us together as a new family of three in our home. Steve perfectly captured the candid moments of our new life as parents and we are so so so grateful. My husband and I would, and have, wholeheartedly recommend Tara Lilly Photography. Steve and Tara are a wonderful couple, and extremely talented photography geniuses. With gratitude, Karly and Nic
