Staying at the Fairmont is always nice but this time has been even better than normal. Alexander checked us in and I was really impressed with how he interacted and engaged with my daughter even though she was being really shy. He asked my how to spell her name but I didn't think much about it. Later that night when we returned to our room after dinner there was a knock on our door and Alexander had arranged for birthday cake and card to be sent up (her birthday is coming up). It had a hand written personalized card and everything. Such a special touch. She was a very happy little girl. And I was a happy mama! The rest of our stay was great as well.

View from room 1042. Zoe at the front desk was exceptional. She took great care of us and was very helpful. Hotel is located in the upper village and is a bit of a walk to the lower village. About 5 to 10 minutes. Outdoor pools and hot tubs were nice to chill in on a cloudy day. Overall we had a great experience here.

Hotel was nice but the room was not what I was expecting especially when I had to upgrade. First impressions were not good. First day our sink and bathtubs were not draining properly and not even an apology. The front desk just made it seem like that was normal and acceptable. I won tickets to stay here but would never pay to stay.

The $35 Breakfast Boofet is one of the best I’ve had. The waffles are one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten and I’m not joking. I don’t know how they make them but they are unreal. Great service too 10/10 will return tomorrow

Stopped in to grab a lunch at Portobello. It was delicious. Costs were high, but not unreasonable for Whistler, and the servings were generous and the flavor fantastic. My kids loved the pulled pork, and one sandwich was enough for two, which made things very reasonable. And leave room for dessert, because that row of pastries is impossible to ignore.
