My wife and I were first introduced to Chef Martin over 10 yrs ago when he came and prepared an amazing romantic dinner for my wife and I, at our home. Since then he has been a part of many of our personal and professional milestones. We have recommended him to all of our friends, family and colleagues and he has never disappointed, always exceeded expectations!! He is a culinary craftsman of the highest order, a tremendous resource on all things foody and he is a true entertainer when given the chance to perform!

Chef Martin and his team catered our wedding at Silver Sage Stables this past August and did an incredible job. Not only was the food amazing, but the service was also top notch. Chef Martin was already familiar with our venue due to his extensive catering experience and worked seamlessly with the other vendors to feed our guests without a hitch. We greatly appreciated Chef Martin’s advice on food choices that would work best together as well as his accommodation of some Persian tastes into the meal. He even wrapped up some leftovers for us to take home and enjoy the next day! Thanks again Chef Martin for the amazing food on our special day! Laura & Ashkan

We had the chef instead for our wedding of 140 people at the Laurel Packinghouse. Not only did they make a huge part of our wedding planning seamless, we have very tough critics saying it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. We are still receiving so many compliments on our food for the day!

Recently Chef Martin and Kristin catered a Birthday for my wife and 35 guests. Very professional and delicious food. We were able to enjoy the party and our guest. They took care of the rest.

Chef Martin and his team catered our wedding and the food, service and attention to detail were all impeccable. So good that our friends used him for their wedding the year following! Can’t go wrong with The Chef Instead
