We had our annual end of the year teacher convention at the Sioux Falls Convention center and I was thoroughly impressed with the facilities. Since I had been there last the rest facilities had been updated along with the venue in general. The food that we had was wonderful and well prepared especially for our crowd of 600 teachers in attendance. I think the staff that helped during the event also did an wonderful job making us feel welcome and well provided for. We had a great selection of speakers and an incredibly well received keynote speaker that really brought a new light into the teaching profession. I think if Sioux Falls continues to offer spectacular venues such as the Sioux Falls Convention center, the city will continue to grow and prosper. Thank you Sioux Falls and Denny Sanford for providing such an incredible convention center that teachers such as myself can visit and feel welcome and well taken care of. I appreciate the hospitality.

I've always been pleased with the service and the food when I've attended a meeting, an event, or a wedding reception here. With the exception of one long lecture that happened during an air conditioning break down. That was not fun! But they brought us extra ice water and fans, and got it repaired quickly. I guess these "things" can't be helped sometimes. And they made it tolerable when "it" did.

The Sioux Falls Convention Center is a very clean and open facility with very large grand entrances, and congregating areas. There are many restrooms strategically located for access during events. The Facility has many different sized rooms for meetings or large events and shows. The large rooms can be divided or opened up with soundproof partitions and has very tall ceilings. I have been to many differing events in this establishment and it is very adaptable for all sorts of things from weddings, trade shows, dances, auctions, and seminars.

Large event rooms which each have their own set of bathrooms, connected to the Sheraton and the premeir center

The Convention Center is easy to locate and has lots of parking. Too bad my only trip there was to attend the ABATE Motorcycle Swap Meet, that turned out to be a T-Shirt and Jewelry Sales. $8.00 was a lot of money to go in and look at a bunch of T-Shirts and Jewelry. ABATE should be ashamed of themselves and never host another so-called Swap Meet.
