The pool area is fantastic. If I was rating the pool area itself, I would give it 5 stars. The hotel is dated and desperately in need of a refresh. The carpets and furniture are quite worn and need updating. The hallways are also in need of some attention and regular cleaning. Vacuuming the hallways would help improve the general cleanliness of the hotel. For the price you pay to stay in this resort, I expected more in terms of the quality of my stay. Updating the rooms (carpets, furnishings, decor) and improving the cleanliness would drastically improve the quality of this resort. That being said, we had a great time and the kids LOVED the pool area.

A great get away spot for any time of the year. They have a great kids pool, an inside hot tub, and an outside hot tub. Also, they have a small exercise room, computers for your use, small restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals. A fun little bar with daily specials. The best thing I like in the building, is the spa. Outside, you have a place for kids to play, 9 hole 4 par golf greens and for those who like horses and riding stable.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Staff is friendly (helped us set up pack and play) and room was clean. Didn't use the restaurant. Best part is how family friendly the pool and play areas are. This was a great home base for our young family (2 1/4 year old boy) with a water slide and playground. They could do some general updates that would help improve the place (lighting, carpet is super old and dated for example) but overall are happy with the place.

Beautiful resort backing rolling hills, a horse ranch, and a golf course. The new pool area with waterslide is stunning and the kids loved it. Bathrooms are recently renovated and very nice. Downsides would be the location (you will have to drive to the lake) and the mattresses are like laying in a hammock - pretty worn out. All in all a four star resort. I'd come back for sure.

We went for a day trip to the Solstice Spa and it was fantastic. It was very relaxing, our massage therapists were great and the food was delicious. I liked that the mineral pool water wasn't cold, so it was pleasant to enter despite just leaving the hot tub. The view was great. The optional colouring books were a cute touch.
