Very well maintained and very good atmosphere with staff dressed in 1850's costume. All questions answered and dialogue is is done in period. This place is very historic and well decorated with authentic decor in all the buildings. A real pleasure to spend the afternoon taking in all there is to see and do. Bring a picnic lunch or dine in the Provisions cafe in the information centre. Well worth the price of admission.

I love our national parks. They're always very well maintained and lower fort Garry was no different. Cheap entrance fees and the staff go out of their way to answer your questions and show you how something worked in the mid 1800s. They play the part as best as they can.

Beautiful location, lots of Canadian History and one of the first stone built forts in Canada. It is a great spot for a picnic which I recommend because the food at the restaurant is average at best.

Love this place, great historic landmark. Frequent tours and very knowledgeable staff offer a glimpse into Manitoba's colourful and controversial past. Well worth your time.

Character's are great. Hit a day that had the Cast Iron Cook off which was great. Spent a good portion of the day there with the family including dog.
