Living out of state had it’s challenges when planning our wedding. We couldn’t have chosen a better venue. There is nothing like the Bourne Mansion... in terms of interior and exterior aesthetics and service. The Bourne Mansion is special because it excels at everything. It is the ideal location where guests can enjoy the best of both worlds - the water from the patio and the classic rooms inside. From the beginning, we had an amazing experience with Miriam. She had wonderful suggestions that helped our wedding stand out. She was in constant contact and made sure to accommodate all of our needs. Steve was also instrumental in guiding us throughout the process to ensure our weddings stood out from others. He was most especially valuable on the day of the wedding because he made sure everything was executed seamlessly. He made sure my husband and I, as well as our families, were enjoying ourselves. It is obvious through the great work of the staff that the Bourne Mansion is the premiere location for weddings. We couldn’t have asked for a better day and we thank them. We recommend the Bourne Mansion without hesitation!

Situated by the gulf of ocean. This real life mansion offers both indoors and outdoors possibilities for parties. The wedding I attend had the ceremony in a smaller hall which is about 600 square foot. It was very heart warming but very crowded 100+ guests. Outside the ceremony hall is a couple of connected rooms which were used to served cold cuts, appetizers and drinks. Guests were able to walk, eat and chat at the same time. The only problem I see is some of the appetizers were more popular than the others, the waiting lines were long and progress was slow and blocked the flow of guests. Walking through the appetizers rooms out jump the great room, which is the size of a basketball field with a stage. This is where the reception were held. We had sit down dinner, food was okay. Dancing the night away with the DJ at premise was definitely a big wow for me. All these happened in the first floor. Wondering if there's more space on the second. But, weather permitting, the outdoor space will definitely provide a great wedding ceremony possibilities.

Extraordinary venue for a wedding on Long Island. Wow. Amazing views and limitless lawns. Also for corporate retreats or conferences.

I attended a wedding on 7/27/18. The venue was spectacular, service impeccable, food magnificent. I was beyond impressed.

Lovely views of land and water. Outdoor wedding in 90 degree heat. Serving champagne. I asked waitress for a glass of water and was told. None until after the ceremony! Staff was not warm. Maitre de told clergy..no microphone. Groom was called to get dj to supply. Microphone poor and some of ceremony not heard. Also clergy was heard to ask for table and chair where bride and groom would stand and none supplied. The reception food was good Staff needs to be more attentive. Water should be available outside in heat.
