Fantastic venue & great staff. Perfect setup of any event.

Beautiful location in Granville PEI that currently offers the whole wedding experience for both the bride and groom and their families. The house, is very well maintained with a cozy warm feel and the barn has been expertly restored. In addition there are two cottages onsite, built in a sustainable design competition with UPEI and Holland College. The amount of space and peaceful location would also make Green Island Getaways an ideal retreat location or for any other group looking to gather together.

Would love to say how wonderful it was, but I refuse to lie. The meal was mediocre at best and the place was hot with no air-conditioning (no, it was not broken, it was non-existent).

As a wedding photographer on PEI I've seen many venues and Green Isle I've been to a few years ago, and now again just this past Saturday. I have to say that this is one of the best managed, customer service oriented venues on the Island. The manager of the venue was incredible, and speaking to the parents of the bride/groom as well as the bridal party themselves (all 14 of them), they were all blown away. Every concern was taken care of, and she was so accommodating. It was one of the best meals I've had at a wedding in a long time as they've hired a full time chef to do the catering on site. They have accommodations for the ENTIRE wedding party on site and separately (a house on one side, and a recently renovated basement apartment type of idea under the barn which was AWESOME for the guys, I ended up taking a number of photos in there since it was so cool). As long as everyone at the wedding knows that during the day of the wedding, you cannot take liquor on the property of the barn only (you can bring your own drinks and have them literally next door in a big open field which is on the house property), then everything runs smooth and there are zero problems. There are also two beautiful cottages which the parents of the bride/groom or anyone really can stay in on site as well, I think the bride/groom stayed in one of them their wedding night which is great to get away from everyone. As far as wedding guests go, the manager WILL EVEN DRIVE THEM TO THEIR HOTELS AROUND THE AREA for $5 or something like that.. She was incredible and any bad reviews out there are likely due to people not understanding they couldn't take their own booze in the barn or something like that. Hit me up on Facebook if you wanted to hear more about it.. I'm in zero way associated with Green Isle, but it has rocketed up my list of favorite venues after what I witnessed last weekend. Check it out for sure.

Superb facilities in nice country setting with good ammenties. The upgrades over the years and the great service makes this a wonderful location for a wedding or function. I hosted several events here and have been entirely satisfied.
