We are just back from spending the night at the Doctors Inn, we are experimenting with short local vacations and this was our first in a series of mini vacations. It was an awesome experience. Everything was lovely, the room and the grounds at this inn are beautiful . This was a package deal that included dinner. We started with cocktails in the sun room, they make a deadly cosmopolitan, dinner was five courses, the food and service exceeded our expectations. The menu was wonderful and each course was beautifully prepared. The seared scallops were perfect, the beet salad was very fresh ( the candied walnuts perfected the salad), the risotto was perfectly prepared but the steak with crab stuffed ravioli was the best we have ever eaten. The strawberry crumble with vanilla ice cream was a perfect ending. This was all served in a beautiful dining room that had cracking fire burning in the stone fireplace . Five courses seemed like a lot but the serving sizes were perfect and it was served over an extended period of time. After dinner we headed out to the hot tub for a little soak ...it was lovely as well. Breakfast was also included and again the service and food were great. The goat cheese and spinach omelette was a real treat. We are definitely going to visit again!

IMy wife , daughter in law and grandchild went there for brunch on Mother’s day.We were disappointed first that it was a buffet. We prefer to choose from a menuwhich usually means a better quality of food. The quality of the food even though there was a decent variety was not what we expected. It was all very average. The location and Doctor’s house was beautiful. The location was. dry nice. The restaurant was not opened so they served the brunch in a large out building. Not very impressive.Staff were very friendly..

Some of the nicest people we have met on this trip yet. Thank you Tia and Melissa for an unforgettable experience. Great service! Especially considering we booked an appointment for two just 8 hours earlier. After driving for about 16 hours straight the previous day, it was a perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon whilst recouping from our journey. We will definitely be back and recommend the spa to anyone looking that perfect blend of R&R. ✌️

Zero Stars. IF or When you book this place, ensure you take notes on all your conversations, PLUS beware although you can book online or using ONE phone number for services, if you try to change it it's a nightmare because the of separate operators of the facility. We booked cottage and spa, unfortunately we had a family death and had to cancel or postpone, lease to say the customer service and professionalism was far from what one should receive from a 4.5-star rating place. Too much to elaborate on here but I want you to be aware take notes as if you were a court room secretary just in case your plans change.

Beautiful location. Awesome rooms. Great service. Great food. Great atmosphere. Lovely gardens. Loved it. Only critisism is that the walls between the rooms are a little thin if you know what I mean...
