Beds felt 25 years old and had no support.. we were both sore in the morning (we are in our 30s), the room was a sauna if air conditioner wasn't full blast, but the air conditioner was too loud to sleep with on. Couldn't open the patio door because there was no screen to keep bugs from coming in. Linens had a lot of marks on them and didn't smell clean. When we checked out, the lady at the front desk didn't ask us how our stay was.. she didn't ask us a thing. I'm sure the restaurant is good...

We were on a day trip from Halifax and decided to check out the cottages for an upcoming family gathering. The women working graciously made time to take us down and show us two cottages and explain the property. The landscape and location were incredible. We will definitely be back for an overnight stay in one of the cottages with a private beach!

My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay at the Dovetail. Fire place to keep us warm, kitchen with all the essentials for cooking, comfortable bed and beautiful views all weekend. The perfect little spot to get away and recharge for a weekend with plenty to do and explore in the area as well! You won't be disappointed!
