As far as the boat goes, it's a nice vessel, although potentially ones without motors are available in towns like Lunenburg for tours. What really made this a bad experience was the music blasting at ridiculous volumes from massive loudspeakers. Any chance of hearing seagulls, harbour sounds, waves, or any other "sailing" experiences were drowned out by nearly deafening songs. And if you think they were "normal" songs, they were more like pirate songs (and not the good kind). By 20 minutes I was practically praying that the tour guide would come back on the PA system and tell us something very long so I wouldn't have to hear that ghastly music again. If they'd turn the awful music OFF, it would've been a nice little cruise. But for $80, totally and completely not worth it. Go try the Bluenose II in Lunenburg and see what sailing's really like.

The ship has a fascinating history. Cool that is was built with sails and a motor in the 1930's. We really enjoyed the commentary from the guide. Thanks!

Lovely sail above deck. The crew is very friendly and willing to answer questions about the area and general boating. Basic bar & washrooms on board. Large function room below deck. Nice for a party, food or getting out of the rain, but it could use a bit of an upgrade.

Had a very fun time raising the sails. Wish it was longer out side the harbor.

My wife and I had a great experience! Really great views and history. Pretty touristy and crowded, but we had fun! Be sure to checkout the bar tender Bob! Quite a guy!
