We've been to a couple of sugar bushes in the valley and I found this one to be the best. The dining room is large, bright and airy. It had a working fireplace which really added to the ambience and all the warm wooding made the room very welcoming. The servers were both attentive and very charming and always seem to know when to top up your cup. Their brunch buffet had a nice selection and was well monitored with food constantly coming out. They had Spotify on and we heard everything from Woody Guthrie to Joan Baez to Nick Drake. In Ottawa it's easy to give everyone 5 🌟 but I think they deserve it.

We went for breakfast past Sunday and were pleasantly surprised at how quickly we were able to get seated. They have a main seating area on the first floor and then two separate elevated seating areas. On our visit, the breakfast was a buffet and it was phenomenal. Absolutely fantastic smoked ham, really nice omelettes, and choices of maple syrop. The server who came by several times was quite good as well. This is how it's done right.

Wow, what an amazing venue. The timber frame building is beautiful, and I thought it was so great to see they used trees taken out in the Ice Storm in the construction. The food was top notch (the BEST sugar shack breakfast I've ever had). The staff were super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be visiting again!

I dubbed this place last year as my favourite breakfast spot ever. I had a mild panic attack when arriving this year to find out that on weekends it is buffet only. Not to worry, it was even better this year! There are better sugar bushes in terms of activities, but you come to Temples when you want the best breakfast you ever had. It may be a little pricey at $20 per person and $10 for kids, but I feel it was worth every penny. Also, wait times are cut down dramatically and the family style seating arrangement is kinda fun.

We were here May 26th for our Niece's wedding! Wow! The venue, the staff and the food were beyond expectations! They need to sell their salad dressing! I'd drive to Lanark just for their dressing!!
