Odd compilation of local art exhibits and crafty boutique items being sold in a renovated historic private religious college.

The people at 1000 Islands Village are very difficult to deal with. The space at the previous Grenville Christian College site is a beautiful one to hold an event in/at however planning an event with them had proven to be almost impossible. I had heard many negative reviews from people local to Brockville when inquiring about venues in the area however thought that giving them the benefit of the doubt would be the Christian thing to do especially since the space is so picturesque, however I was quickly proven wrong and the rumours became true. Unorganized, difficult to communicate with, uncharacteristically uncaring and generally came off as being money hungry.

It's an old church and monastery that's being turned into an all around event place and shopping. Very cool idea but in the shop that's there most of the stuff is made in China when there is local artisans all over the area. Has great idea for potential
