Trying to book a venue through Ottawa Venues has been the most frustrating, unprofessional and disappointing experience, to say the least. I don’t speak for all of the venues or staff as some did try to help me out along the way, but this is specific to the Terrace on the Canal venue. After 3 months of waiting and follow up emails, the coordinator for this venue never acknowledged my request for info or tried to contact me. The one time I was able to successfully contact her, she booked a phone appointment to call me back but I never heard from her at the scheduled time or later. Zero respect for time. I was then told that she is the only contact available to manage this venue and there was no one else I could speak to in order to move ahead. After hearing about more promises for a follow-up, I eventually never heard back and was forced to give up. The company also let this fizzle out with time and stopped caring. I wasn't sure whether or not to post this as a review for the Terrace venue itself, but then I realized there was no opportunity for the actual venue to be privy to a potential client. Potential clients are simply not made a priority.
