I never give this kind of low ratings but the experience deserves it. We were a party of 12 with family visiting from Toronto, they acted so pricey when booking the restaurant and with the reviews we were expecting a fine dining restaurant with good ambience and food. The experience was sadly so bad that it became embarrassing. The place was so noisy with a table of loud and boisterous people behind that we could barely hear ourselves, our request for a separate table or for the folks to be a little less loud fell on deaf ears. On the food front, the bread was cold, ran out of food items on their regular short menu. The chicken was run out, the cod was salted to hilt, the duck was chewy, The saving grace was the sommelier, great attitude and helpful. I would recommend folks to avoid this place and somebody please stop calling this fine dining, or good French food or even putting this restaurant on any list other than the worst experience in Montreal. If it was my restaurant, I would have definitely fired the chef. Apologies for the long rant! Have posted this from the restaurant before the bill has come so no factoring in that either.

3 stars may be a bit harsh. I really want to give it 3.5 stars. The atmosphere and bar are great. Amazing cocktails and friendly staff. The food wasn't even bad but it was just okay and the portions are ridiculous for the price. Had the scallops which were amazing but for $22 you get 2 tiny scallops? The Cornish hen whilst a poor order as it is a very simple dish was kind of dry and not too much meat for another $26. I am all about paying for quality but this just seemed like a premium price for average food. This would however be an awesome place for after work drinks.

Amazing ambiance. Warm and cozy. The food is divine and delicious. Marie Claude was our server and was the best. This is a must see and must experience dining haven! Don’t miss out on this gem if you are visiting Montreal!

Once in a lifetime meal with friends. Experience it. Very expensive for me, but totally worth it.

I might be biased because I had my wedding here back in 2015, but this place is fantastic. If you're looking for a place for your wedding, look no further - the whole team is great and easy to work with, the food is the best wedding food you can find, and the venue is so charming, romantic, and full of character. Our guests said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. The service was excellent and attentive. I'd give them 6 stars if I could. :)
