I'm a vendor and had the pleasure working with Colony club a few times in 2022. Honestly the venue itself is SO beautiful and the staffs were just amazing and friendly. As a vendor we don't usually get treated like normal human beings, surprisingly, right? However, working there I felt like anyone else, a normal human and staffs were just so nice and helpful. Looking forward to work there more. :-)

While it is cute, it is a lot smaller than what it appears to be on the brochure. I wouldn’t have a wedding of 200 people there. I don’t think it’s worth the price. They have the ceremony and reception in the same room, and push the reception tables to the back of the same room while the ceremony is going on. The bridal party and groomsmen rooms were also pretty small. My fiancé and I felt our hearts sink when we entered the bridal party dressing room, we both felt some weird energy in there.

The best, beautiful dream venue in Detroit! The staff were the best, friendly and very professional. The catering (part of the Colony Club) was excellent and just what we ordered. I cannot say anything negative about our experience at the Colony Staff and about their Staff! Make sure to check this place out if you are planning a wedding of any size! Tell them the “Mother of Tatiana” sent you! 👍🏼😊

We had our wedding reception here last month and they blew it out of the park! Everything about the reception was perfect - the ambiance, the professionalism of the staff, the food/drinks, everything. The venue is so gorgeous that we only needed flowers on the tables to consider it fully decorated. I had actually ruled this venue off the list when we were first looking for a reception hall because of the price, but I am so glad my (now) wife convinced me otherwise - worth every penny. We had a total of 198 people at the venue with plenty of space to spare. I highly recommend!

We had our ceremony and reception at the Colony Club 4th floor petite ballroom and it was the night of our dreams. We worked with Jaime and Amber for the almost year leading up to our wedding, and they were so professional, friendly, organized. They kept us on track with making decisions, and also offered helpful advice/suggestions. They were very responsive, easy to get in touch with, and flexible with trying to help get the day as perfect as we envisioned. The tasing process was so much fun - you basically get served like at a restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious - we got many compliments from guests about how much they enjoyed it. The actual venue is so romantic and beautiful - the space speaks for itself. On the big day, Preston was the event manager, and he was so great. He handled any issues that came up and coordinated with our wedding planner so my husband and I could just enjoy the night - heck, he even filled in for a bartender that I believe called in sick. He was a man of many talents. I highly recommend the Colony Club for a wedding! The space and employees were great.
