Excellent food! The service did take a while, but it’s the best pub food (had the lamb shank) I’ve had in Kingston. I tried my friend’s meal and found the fish and chips delicious, though slightly salty. The beer and food are decently priced.

Great beer and great food. Ordered the appetizer combo and the Thistle fries. Serving size was large and food was awesome. Never had Thistle fries before or even know if it's a common thing but I'm hooked and can't wait for next opportunity to have some!

Great food and beer selection. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable on the history of the building. They have great live music too!

Do no eat the fish and chips, I have no problem with breaded coating, however it was too salty, you could not taste the fish. The lady next to us said the same thing, even had her plate returned. The waiter was very nice and told us he would tell the chef. I'm reading previous comments from the past months and see this is not a recent issue with the fish and chip... the restaurant should look for a new recipe for this dish.

Booked the Public House for a going away party, the staff were great. Provided us with room upstairs, service was great, food excellent, a perfect venue for our group. We will be back!
