The only good thing about this place was that it was walking distance to some of the guests houses. So you could get smashed (if they would let you, which they don't anyways) and still make it home lol. Otherwise I would book somewhere else. The staff is not that friendly...especially the older woman that works there. The bartender was very nice, polite and friendly and even apologized for her behavior to us. The bar is separated from the hall and at a wedding venue you can't get a drink during dinner!? I mean what kind of a rule is that? There is red and white wine on the tables but lots of people rather have a different drink with their dinner and you can't because the bar is closed! The grounds are very nice if you want an outdoor ceremony and pictures, but we were asked to set up or own chairs before the wedding ceremony! And not in a nice way like "sorry we are running behind, do you mind helping?" No!!!! It was "everyone grab a chair to bring outside!" What kind of a service is that? I wasn't too impressed with the place but didn't want to ruin the wedding day for our best friends so we didn't say anything but I decided to at least leave a review for others to read and decide if they want to book for their events.

Awesome food, traditional entertainment. Mature crowd. Great at Oktoberfest for people that enjoy a waltz or a polka. Live entertainment.

Friendly staff. Great room for parties except the bar is separate from the main hall. That means your party gets split up. Nice wood work, clean grounds. Quiet side street.
