I booked this venue with the previous management when it was still called Rose Garden for the rooftop venue. To my disappointment, the previous management left and I was left to deal with really poor management. My suggestion to the new management would be to contact all of their clients who booked with the old management and make sure there is a smooth transition. I had the new management call me and I spoke with Simran. I told her that previous management told me that 50-60 people were okay for the booking but she told me that if we are over 50 people, she will charge extra for the buffet. This totally threw me off. She later told me it was fine and that she could authorize it... Later on, Simran called me and advised she needs the payment in full (aside from the deposit I already have) 24-48 hours prior to the event. My family and I have thrown many parties at banquet halls and we have never given the payment in full prior to the event. We hold onto our payment until the event is over to ensure all went well. I told her this is impossible as I cannot make it from Toronto downtown to the venue prior to the event. Next, we got to the venue and my sister was approached by management and was asked where the receipts are for the desserts she brought to set-up at the bridal shower. The previous management never advised us of this. We then asked for a speaker because we were told there would be sound for us to connect music and management told us they don’t have this service... again, thrown off. My friend had to run to the store to purchase a speaker to save the day. Lastly, while our event was going on, the management had potential clients walking straight into our event - almost in the middle of it - and started showing them around. The potential clients started recording us, so they could capture the space. This made us really uncomfortable. My sister and family had to go up to the lady who was showing the space and ask her to leave. Then, she did it again with different potential clients. This was just a very frustrating experience. I expect good customer service and when it is less than perfect, I expect to be compensated. But the manager did not offer any compensation or discount. Only positive takeaways: Food was good Servers were kind and really helpful Good luck to the new management. Remember, Customer service is everything!

We had my Dad 90th Birthday celebration at Rose Garden Banquet Hall. I spoke with Hem who helped us every step along the way. Since it was such a special event, we wanted everything to be perfect so we went online and read the reviews for Rose Garden Banquet Hall. We must say after reading the reviews we were very skeptical to have my Dad’s 90th celebration hosted at Rose Garden Banquet Hall and also we organized this event from out of town. Hem spoke with me and I told him my concerns on the reviews, he assured me he and his team would make sure we have a great time for Dad’s celebration, and although I was skeptical, I told Hem we would take a chance and we did! I was very impressed with everything he and his crew did for us; we had an extremely successful event. I called Hem numerous times on the phone, he was always there to talk with me and assured me our event would be perfect. He was right, Hem cooked delicious food for us, and his servers were the best. They did a wonderful job at laying our buffet and attending to us. Thanks Hem for such amazing service, we would definitely come again to celebrate our special memories with you at Rose Garden Banquet Hall.

I would recommend new owner change name of hall. As previous owners conned people and also left vendors unpaid !! As bad as I may feel leaving this review, I’d actually have to have proof that ownership changed, but new management is even more ignorant. Let’s see how long they last! Ownership changed multiple times, it’s time for re-marketing the place with a new name, if they wanna survive!

A lot of construction but great location and customer service. The decor is very nice.
