What a perfect setting for a wedding or any other event. A terrific mix of old village charm and formal event professionalism. I’m from Alberta so I will not likely be back but if I was, I’d love another reason to come back. The setting was natural and calm; who would have guessed that we were just a few minutes out of Toronto.

I thought this was a beautiful venue with amazing food. Chapel is adorable but super hot in the mid-summer months. My only issue with the venue is the amount of weddings that happen at one time. So many weddings all intermingling which takes away from the intimacy of the wedding you are attending. Note: I was a maid of honour not the bride so I didn’t deal directly with the staff!

Was here for a wedding. I was thinking that this place would be a very old, historical mansion but it's bulky like an old style country inn. Not at all what I expected. Food was good, plenty strong AC (considering it was 38°C with humidex) and environment was well suited for a wedding. There are three main halls on the upper floors. Each capable of hosting parties of 150+ people. The Chapel was quaint and had It's own "secret" underground passageway. All in all it was a good experience.

We had our wedding here in May and we had a wonderful experience right from the first meeting with the staff. Allison and Hailey (the day of coordinator they gave us!) took care of us during the entire process, and were all wonderful. This venue has the reputation for being "expensive" but we found it reasonable for what they do and give you! Wonderful service, immediate email responses, every aspect was exactly as described, no hidden costs. We also chose to stay in their Bridal Suite, which was gorgeous and so worth it. They even gave us complimentary sandwiches, chips and bottle of champagne to take back to the suite with us, and a complimentary gift card for breakfast at their ChopHouse restaurant. The grounds are spectacular and well kept for photos, and we got tons of compliments on the food. Delicious menu (especially the chicken!!), and wonderful desserts. Jessica was our main server and was so sweet. We also received many compliments on the room (The Country Fare), and how classy it was. Entire process was wonderful, and during a stressful time such as wedding planning, you want to make sure you pick a venue that handles everything wonderfully for you! Really helped me feel less stressed knowing they had everything taken care of. We had a wonderful time!

I thought the place looks fantastic. The chapel was very nice and the old wood pews and floor just added to the character. The Reception area was nice and big from what I saw on the upper level. Walking around outside was nice for pictures and from what I could see the second reception area on the lower level was basically the same as upstairs only a little smaller. Where I see the faults were Food & Drink. Several people I was with were not impressed with food served or the wine with dinner.
