This is a traditional family cottage resort with a great atmosphere. About 10 comfortable, clean cottages on a treed lakefront: fire pits (free wood on site), decks, docks, a pool, and inflatables off the beach front for lots of water fun. We have found nothing to compare in price. Lots to do. A big draw is the afternoon tubing and skiing that comes with the cottage and draws families together for a great time. The Morgan family are unbelievable hosts. Their welcoming attitude spreads through the staff. We love the place.

The whole weekend we were was amazing! The grounds were Beautiful, our room had a wonderful view, the staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was fantastic!! Can't wait to go there again.

My daughter and I stayed in the Lodge for 3 nights and loved the quaint rooms and stunning views. Eating delicious food over looking Buckhorn Lake on the veranda off Fredericks dining room is a little slice of paradise. We swam in the warm pool, jumped on the lake trampoline and loved our canoe ride to a little island. You couldn't ask for better hosts, it is obvious the Morgan family work very hard to provide a comfortable stay and 5 Star food. The authentic lodge experience is what makes Beachwood special.

Was visiting to see offerings for weddings in the summer and was not disappointed. Update: We chose Beachwood to get married in August 2016, staff was super helpful and everything went just how we hoped. We get asked by our guests when we are all going to go back for another weekend.
