Great place to get away from the city, also helps that it is family owned. We rented Albert manor, upkeep is reasonable, although I think the AC stopped working the second day we were there. Equipment rentals are free for the first hour or 2 which is great if you just wanted to try out something you've never experienced it before. Lake has plenty of fish for fishing. The only downside is it's proximity to the train tracks, but I didn't find it very bothersome surprisingly. Some good hiking trails around as well, I took my mountain bike there and it was decent. Will visit again definitely.

The best part of Bayview is the food. They have great camps for kids : Art, Adventure, Sport etc. They have evening dinner themes, and entertainment, along with activities for adults such as yoga, horseshoes, hiking, tours, canoeing etc. Some of the room are a bit outdated but many are starting to be refurbished. Great view on the beach, it even has a water trampoline for the kids. Staff were very nice & mostly organized. Very nice view from the dining hall & overall a cozy feel to the whole resort. Only downside is the train going by in the middle of the night. * Bring Bug Spray in Summer *

A great family resort with lots to do with the kids. It's a rustic getaway which is exactly what we look for. We've been a couple of times. The meals are great because the children can choose from a buffet while the adults choose from a formal menu. We've only gone during the winter - but the toboggan is a blast and we loved the woodland trails. There is a kids club that you can drop your children off for a nice break to do adult activities. We like it because there are many other children, so you're not self-conscious about your own all the time.

Have been going with the Same group by boost for 5 years. Always book one night for dinner. First time ever 13 people could not eat Their food. Different plates. Fish was warm for each person and looked more like frozen out of the box filets. Asks could not be paletted by the most seasoned of herbivores. Spaghetti and meatballs had 1/4 inch of water in the plates. Let's just say it w the last time we will rest there. On the other hand Moe at the dock das as pleasant and accommodating as ever. Next year for at the dock.
