We attended the Hamilton Veggie Food Fest out at the Ancaster Fairgrounds in early May. It was a sunny, but cool and windy day, and as the majority of the show was indoors, we didn't tour a lot of the actual grounds. The main building has good sized rooms on two floors that were aptly suited to events of this nature. Turnout for the event was strong, and this venue had enough parking and indoor/outdoor space to make attendance relatively easy and hassle-free. I am not sure if public transit services this location, but it is accessible, has ample restrooms and there is an ATM on site.

This place has great potential to be memorable. Medieval shows, birds of prey, weapons and armour! Staff was great and show while awesome tended to be a bit sluggish as there was a lot of talking. It didn't help that our (school trip) class was seated in the corner with speaker facing away so it was very hard to keep kids engaged. Other sections seemed to be entertained better. After the show they had stations outside ofain building for birds of prey, weapons and armour as well as archery. Unfortunately, we were greeted by 60-70km/h wind gusts so it was very hard to hear as well as freezing cold even though it was sunny outside. Most were just eager to get back on the bus to warm up.

Fantastic Field for our lure coursing events. Nice flat ground for parking. We camp there over the weekend and have never had any complaints. Also beautiful for taking pics.

I went for a swap meet and overall the experience was good. Buildings are in great shape with very clean bathrooms. Very organized group of people running the event.

Nice place, decent enough space. Really depends on what you're hosting there. Not many trees and limited parking but otherwise a good place!
