I don't find Michelangelo's to be a particularly classy or exciting venue. A lot of the decor feels dated or overly grand to the point of being cheesy, but that might just be my impression. However, the front garden is a pretty nice photo location, especially when it's nighttime and they have the Christmas lights on.The food is pretty good as far as catering food goes, but again, nothing special. The bathrooms are always clean and the staff have always been polite and unobtrusive at any function I've attended there. I would say this is a good location for a corporate function, but it wouldn't be my first recommendation for a wedding reception (or any event like that) if you want a memorable location.

Attended for an awards dinner. Food was OK. Pasta sauce was fresh and very good. Rest was decent. Service was OK. We had family style service . The server did not ask if we wanted more and removed the food platters while we were still eating so if you wanted more you were out of luck. He even got rid of the bread bowl. Also the dinner plates were on the small size . Never seen such small plates. NUMBER ONE RULE OF SERVICE :DO NOT GET RID OF THE FOOD IF THE GUESTS ARE STILL EATING !!! I should know I ran a banquet hall for 5yrs. Gave them 3 stars for the modern decor.

Been there a few times and is a nice venue. Atmosphere is good and well looked after. Food at this event was ok...not the best but passable. The charity that I was there to support did an amazing job. Its a nice venue but is pricey if you are booking it for a wedding.
