We had our parents 50th anniversary at the Portuguese club. Tony and team did an amazing job, they were very accommodating. They took care of setting up the hall as well as the food plus serving. We Would definitely recommend !

We recently attended a reception here. It was our 1st time going to this hall. It's in a very quiet area and if you blink you will probably pass it, so follow your GPS closely. This hall is nice with convenient parking. They allow outside catering and your choice of bringing your own liquor with a liquor license or purchasing from them. There is ample room for about 300 to 350 people to fit comfortably. The staff, on the other hand, are extremely rude. The staff refused to do anything with the food and barely wanted to clear dishes. They started picking up full glasses as if we wanted their dirty hands all over glasses we were drinking from. The bartender literally refused service to one of our cousins. The bartender claimed he drank too much. He's telling her he hadn't been there, that one of his 3 other brothers was the one there. If I hadn't been there to verify he had 3 brothers and it wasn't him at the bar, he wouldn't have been served. It was a pathetic exchange that should have never happened. Poor attitude and customer service on their part. To make matters worse, they refused to allow us to take shots. If we had many shots, I could understand. However, it was the 1st round, lol. This was not a cash bar. The hosts paid for this service, and the hall was refusing to serve.

I attended a Christmas party there. The place was beautifully decorated. The dinner was absolutely delicious and consisted of turkey, ham, stuffing, 2 types of potatoes, mixed veggies and salads. There was a variety of desserts to enjoy as well.

Do not hire this Portuguese club/hall or whatever they called it. Worst place ever. The owner, his wife and bartenders were extremely rude. Did not serve the liquor they promised and they charge us for it. They saying to our guests that they don’t have black label, Hennessy, grey goose. They refused our guest shots, claiming they drank too much. They hide the liquor behind the bar, the bar was empty. They did not warm some of the foods properly. I ask the owner for an extra table that I ll pay the difference. He started yelling at me infront our guests He sat in at our reception the whole night, looking like a bum in old tshirt and shorts. He kick us out directly at 12, stating he has another function at his dump/hall the next day. He demand the full payments 2 days before the wedding. We paid him in full a month prior the wedding. This owner lies, he only wants the payment and then embarrassed you at your function. My daughter got married there and my daughter arranged this venue from this deceitful owner. I made a mistake by not reading the reviews. PLEASE don’t not take this venue. They are liars and they steal your money and not do as promised. I have many many guest who witness this behaviour, and I’m taking this owner to court, for failure to provide what we paid for.

Had retirement party with dinner. Never so embarrassed !. They served French fries, little pieces of chicken, Fish that wasn’t cooked. Salad with no dressing and store bought desserts. Even had to pay for water. Would never recommend. Would have had a better time staying at home. Tony doesn’t respond to emails or voicemails. terrible place
